Research interests:
My research focuses on the long-term dynamics of small mammal populations and their responses to climate change. I am particularly interested in how environmental variability influences population cycles, community structure, and species interactions in northern ecosystems.
My Ph.D. research examined the population dynamics of small mammals in the middle Yenisei taiga in relation to climate warming. From 2017 to 2023, I investigated long-term changes in small mammal communities at the Yenisei Ecological Station ("Mirnoye").
My earlier research addressed the role of large rivers in shaping genetic differentiation among populations of insectivorous mammals.
In addition to ecological research, I develop educational resources for data analysis in ecology. I am the author of the "Introduction to Tidyverse" seminar series and the accompanying online course, which introduce modern R-based approaches for biological data analysis.
